Regional Director – NJSBDC at Rutgers-Newark/RBS/NJSBDC

Dr. Tendai Ndoro is the Regional Director for the NJSBDC at Rutgers-Newark an affiliate the Rutgers Business School (Graduate Programs in Newark & New Brunswick) & the New Jersey Small Business Development Centers statewide network. In this capacity, Dr. Ndoro has continued to support self-employment and economic development through small business development, leadership, entrepreneurship, and strategic management. As Regional Director she provides overall organizational development and strategic management for the Center. She also conducts training and technical assistance to start-up entrepreneurs and established small businesses ensuring the development of successful businesses in Essex County. In addition, Dr. Ndoro has designed and implemented innovative programs like the Women Entrepreneurs’ Networking (WEN) Breakfast, Green2Go; Business Bazaar & Expo, CUEED’s Entrepreneur Pioneer Initiative (EPI), the Rutgers Business School (RBS)/Ernest & Young initiative that is helping Rutgers Business School accounting students gain experiential learning with small businesses in Essex county. In collaboration with various private/public partnerships she has been involved with young entrepreneurs’ programs teaching small business development to Prudential Young Entrepreneurs; the NAACP’s Afro-Academic, Cultural, And Technological & Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO) and RU Ready for Work high school students in Newark, NJ as well as taught entrepreneurship to young girl scouts in Essex and Hudson Counties.
